February 17, 2023 is the application deadline for a spot on the May 6, 2023 ballot!
The Village of San Leanna is governed by an elected Board consisting of a Mayor and five Alderpersons.
All are elected for two year terms, so that each year three positions are up for election.
This year, the General Election will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Candidates for three positions on the Board will be on the ballot; two Alderpersons and the Mayor position.
Are you eligible? Any resident who has resided in the State of Texas for at least 12 months preceding the filing deadline, and in the Village for at least 6 months prior to election day, is eligible to submit an application to be on the ballot and run for office.
The Village depends on volunteers who serve terms on the Board, and cannot exist without them. The deadline for filing a ballot application is February 17th. Please send an email to village@sanleannatx.com or call the Village office at 512-280-3898, if you are interested in securing an application.
We will also need volunteers for election day! If you’re interested, please contact the Village office. The Village runs on our wonderful volunteers!

¡El 17 de febrero de 2023 es la fecha límite de solicitud para un lugar en la boleta electoral del 6 de mayo de 2023!
El Pueblo de San Leanna está gobernado por una Junta elegida que consta de un Alcalde y cinco Concejales.
Todos son elegidos por períodos de dos años, de modo que cada año hay tres puestos para elegir.
Este año, las Elecciones Generales se llevarán a cabo el sábado 6 de mayo de 2023. Los candidatos para tres posiciones en la Junta estarán en la boleta electoral; dos Concejales y el cargo de Alcalde.
¿Eres elegible? Cualquier residente que haya residido en el estado de Texas durante al menos 12 meses antes de la fecha límite de presentación y en Village durante al menos 6 meses antes del día de las elecciones, es elegible para presentar una solicitud para estar en la boleta electoral y postularse para un cargo.
