Dead Animal Removal in San Leanna

We have experience a small uptick in reports of deceased deer on the roadways in the Village of San Leanna over the past week. This, sadly, may become a more frequent issue during fall and winter- as days become shorter and the deer begin venturing out during rush hour traffic.

I would like to offer some resources here for properly dealing with dead animal removal in the Village of San Leanna.

If the animal is located on the road or right-of-way along FM 1626, please contact TXDOT at 713-802-5000 to arrange removal.

You may also submit the request online by using the form at TXDOT Contact and selecting “Road debris/litter/dead animal”.

If the animal is on your private property, you will need to contact an animal or pest removal company independently to arrange removal.

If the animal is located on a Village road, property, or right-of-way, please contact the City Administrator by phone at 512-280-3898 or by email at village@sanleannatx.com to arrange removal.
