Thank you so much to everyone who came out for National Night Out and made the night so much fun!
Alderwoman of Public Safety, Elaine Voeltz, did an awesome job putting the event together this past Tuesday with help from the Manchaca Fire Department and provided some truly delicious brisket sliders – Thank you so much, Elaine!
Those who attended met Village council members and staff and heard presentations from the Travis County Sheriff’s Department and the Manchaca Fire Department regarding common calls they receive, fire extinguisher use, and fire and crime prevention tips. In addition to the presentations on emergency services, attendees heard from the Village’s new Mayor, Molly Quirk, and Village committee members, Art Gurley, with a special “thank you” to first responders, and Elizabeth Hinson with information on the Village tree program.
We look forward to making next years National Night Out as good as this one!
